Jax Coffee House

Jax Coffee HouseJax Coffee House was established in 1995, and has specialized in providing Paso Roblans with fresh roasted coffees since it all began, almost 13 years ago. Jack Erhart, proprietor of Jax, first sourced his beans from a local wholesale coffee roaster, but after pursuing education and training for roasting coffee, Jack began roasting his own in 2001.

The name Jax is derived from the owners name. But with the change in spelling, the name has brought smiles to peoples faces as they remember their childhood favorite game of jax.

Karen joined Jack a year later, as marriage partner as well as business partner, and they enjoyed over 12 years of providing a quiet place for people to enjoy an exceptionally good cup of coffee. But, they enjoyed greater success selling their fresh roasted beans to locals with discerning taste, as well as coffee aficionados across the country, through the internet.

Between roasting the coffee, and brewing it throughout the day, the coffee house was continually filled with the aroma of fresh coffee. Generating the repeated response from everyone who walked through the doors, on the wonderful aroma. Tapping into the power of this wonderful aroma, Jack developed a promotional program that connects this most pleasant of aromas, with a persons business services through a fully customized coffee gift box, creating a very powerful marketing and branding program.

Finding their time and energy divided between the two areas of their growing business, they decided to no longer sell the beverages, so that they could continue to pursue excellence in their roasting and aroma promotions business.

Jax Coffee House & Roastery is still open in their original location, for retail sales of their coffee to their local clients. Most of their time is committed to developing customized aroma promotional programs for their clients.

    I made contact.

  2. Francie says:

I wrote a lengthy email describing my blog readership and my experience writing reviews. I gave links to the blogs and sites that I write for as well as visitor stats. I asked if they would be interested in sending product for a review and/or sponsoring a blog giveaway. All I received was a short email from the owner (Jack) saying that their sites contained all the info I needed and to just write what I felt was appropriate. No answer to my questions or comments on anything else.

I sent you email. Thank You.

  4. Francie says:

When I sent a follow-up email I was told this:

“This type of program has not done anything on our behalf as far as sales. We
would be more then happy to accommodate an order from you, but we don’t give
product away for programs that are noneffective.

We have found that our program just gets lost in the sea of product reviews,
and has been a waste of our time and resources.”

Makes one wonder why they joined this site at all then, doesn’t it? :D

  5. Francie – that is so disappointing. Please let the SheBlogs founder (Julie Wohlberg) know in an email if you can. The Advisory Panel discussed this type of response just today.
